Material Selection for Cold Insulation Pipe Supports案例

Insulation Materials:
Polyurethane Foam (PU): Low thermal conductivity (approx. 0.022 W/(m·K)), high compressive strength, suitable for temperature range from -196℃ to 120℃.
Polyisocyanurate Foam (PIR): Better fire performance and lower water absorption than PU, suitable for higher insulation requirements.
Glass Wool/Rock Wool: Higher thermal conductivity but low cost, suitable for applications where insulation requirements are not high.
Moisture Barrier Materials: Must have good waterproofing and low-temperature resistance, such as aluminum foil composite film, polyethylene film, etc.
Protective Materials: Must have good mechanical strength and corrosion resistance, such as galvanized steel plate, stainless steel plate, etc.
