Location and Fixing
Fixed brackets should be in close contact with the pipe and fixed securely; sliding brackets should be flexible, and the longitudinal movement should meet the design requirements.
For pipes without thermal expansion, hangers and rods should be installed vertically; for pipes with thermal expansion, hangers and rods should be offset in the opposite direction of thermal expansion.
Structural Safety
Pipe supports and hangers fixed to the building structure must not affect the structural safety and require confirmation from a structural engineer.
Corrosion and Fire Prevention
Metal pipe supports require anti-corrosion treatment (such as baking paint, galvanizing), and inorganic material pipe supports must meet fire rating requirements.
